Fantastic School’s Prom

School’s Prom

Well done to everyone involved in the School’s Prom at St George’s Hall this year. It was a wonderful evening and I am so proud of our children who gave a great performance and show-cased the absolute best in vocals, musicality  and beahviour.  My thanks to Mrs Martin, Mrs Calvert, Mrs Jeffries, Mr & Mrs Bolland for their support and  to Mr Boyes, Mrs French and the Bradford Music and Arts Service.

Below is a message I recieved from a parent that captures perfectly how we all felt about this splendid event.

Mrs Cairns.

“I felt compelled to email you today following the schools’ prom at St George’s Hall yesterday evening.
I just wanted to say that you should be incredibly proud of all of the students that took part.
They were professional and their behaviour was impeccable.
My daughter, Ella , took part and I have never felt so proud of her, her friends and St Winefride’s.
The staff that took part should be highly commended for their efforts and commitment. They took great care of the children and pushed them to do their absolute best and this shone through.
The show was amazing – you would never guess that all of the schools that took part only actually met on the day.
I hope to attend more of these events in the future and I really feel that St Winefride’s is becoming an outstanding school that gives it’s pupils the drive and fun element they need to achieve”.
