Puzzle Day Learning

St Winefride’s children had a fantastic time with Danielle from The Happy Puzzle Company. We practiced our team working skills to help us solve many different types of puzzles.We all realised we must take turns to try and solve problems, share ideas and not give up.

Morrisons Vouchers Get Children Cooking

Here at St Winefride’s children and parents have been collecting Morrisons vouchers. Because of them  we are now able to do even more cooking.  All this equipment arrived this week and was bought using the vouchers children brought to school. Thanks to everyone who collected Morrisons vouchers with their shopping and donated them to us. Maybe we will produce the next Masterchef .



Fabulous Farm Visit

Reception paid a visit to the farm last Friday. They learned lots about how a farm works, met some animals and had a lovely play. Here are some photographs that were taken on the visit. Look out for more pictures this Thursday.


St Winefride’s Children Get Creative

As usual we have had a creative week at Stwinefride’s Catholic Primary School. Here are two examples. One is from Year 2 where Mrs Henry has been helping the children produce pictures of animals as part of their topic. The other pictures are of landscapes our Year 5 classes painted with Mr Bullock on a special art day.

Fatima Group Mass

Year 3 children continue their preparation for First Holy Communion with a special Mass with the Parish’s Fatima Group. The children have wonderful prayer sponsors  supporting them on their faith journey.
